(Sexy fine) Idris Elba will be at Pure (2798 Clairmont Rd.) on Monday night. DJ Frank Ski of V-103 (I remember him when he was in Bmore!) will be on the 1s and 2s along with DJ Tayrok.

So unless you've been living under a rock for the past couple of months (or in Monaco...like your's truly) you know that the city of Atlanta will be hosting the Honda Battle of the Bands. And we all know what that means: college parties galore. But don't fret, there's no need to party with the 18 year olds this weekend:

This Friday (1.25.08) Wyclef is promoting his new album The Carnival Vol. II by partying it up with the locals at Club Utopia (840 Marietta St.). This party is hosted by Mister Mills & Bluprint. V-103's Frank Ski will be in the place along with...is it true? Konvict Music? We'll see if they show... AND IF THAT'S NOT ENOUGH ... Your's Truly, Kaluskie, is hosting The Great Gatsby along with Doc of 3Dot at Verve Lounge (511 Peachtree St NE) this Saturday (1.26.08). The theme for this party was inspired by a book set during the Roaring 20's written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. So ladies, bust out those furs, pearls, and diamonds...and fellas, it's time to take it way back to the 20's, with the cigars, vests and card holders.
