Konvict Music at the Blue Room, Janelle Monae at Smith's Olde Bar, Olympia Prime Free all Night, and Geisha House

If I get another message in my facebook inbox about the Konvict Music party tonight, I'm going to SCREAM! Have you EVER heard of OVERPUBLICZING? There's nothing worse than receiving too much publicity for a party whose promoter NO ONE knows anything about. But alas, my fellow ATLiens, here's the rundown for tonight's festivities... GYPSY STOKES OF KONVICT MUSIC & ILL FAM ENTERTAINMENT are hosting Konvict Music's take-over of the Blue Room tonight. Located at 2359 Peachtree Street in Buckhead. They claim to have the sexiest party every Friday night for young professionals...I'll let you be the judge. Doors open at 8:00pm, with $3 Martini Specials all night long. It seems as though Atlanta promoters find a new venue, and suck the life out of it until no patron wants to frequent it anymore. Such is the case with Olympia Prime, located at 133 Peachtree Street. There is YET ANOTHER party here, hosted by Almost Perfect Ent. and NVuS Entertainment, this week. There's a bright side, though. It's free all night...so they say! I've only heard of this one via facebook, and there's no flyer. Doors open at 10:00pm. I say, show up at 1:00AM and see how "free" the party is... Janelle Monáe, ATL's favorite Cyberchik! is turing things up at Smith's Olde Bar, with Deep Cotton and Tendaberry. She'll be taking pics and signing autographs. But make sure you have your ID's out because this event is 21+, kiddies. Doors open at 8pm, and there's a $12 cover. But the money's worth it. She's fabulous! But, a little birdie whispered to me something about a soirée at Geisha House, in Atlantic Station tonight. That sounds right up my alley...Happy Hunting.
